Comments: I was so disappointed to see the series leave t.v. I bought the series on tape and would love to see more of the show.Families need more entertaiment like that on t.v. When shows like "Christy" and "Dr.Quinn..." don't last on t.v. as long as "Melrose Place" and "Bay Watch" it is a sad reflection on us all.

Comments: Thank you Pax for supporting Christy and bringing it back as movie specials. The Christy fans ask that you cast Stewart Finlay-McLennon in the role of Dr. Macneill. He would love to play the part and would be perfect for the part!!! We love him in that role!!!! He has been an avid supporter of Christy returning and is an ideal choice for the part.thank you,Frances

Comments: Whatever it takes please put Christy back on the air - I MISS IT!! The animal show is cute, but Christy is a much better show by far. I read the book Christy when I was young and now that you have taken the show off the air I have started to read Christy again - I have to admit though that I enjoyed the show more and to see the book come to life. Thank you for listening!

Comments: Though I was unable to see very many of the Christy episodes when the show first came out, I was glad to hear that PAX TV aired all episodes. However, I found that there is an animal show in place of Christy. I agree with other people that Christy is a good show that should be put back on. If not in that time slot, another would be just as welcome. Hope to see Christy on again in the near future.

Comments: I would really like to thank PAX TV for airing the Christy episodes on their network. Their family oriented channel is much appreciated. I'm a high schooler, and I love the show Christy. It just goes to show that many people want quality shows with morals, free of violence, etc. Thank you PAX! I would like to voice my request for more episodes of Christy. I find the show inspirational. The show reached so many people, the original cast was outstanding-especially Kellie Martin, Randall Bantinkoff, Tyne Daly, and Stewart Finlay-McLennan. It would be nice to have them back (perhaps Kellie could do them on her hiatus from ER). Anyway, thank you! Lindsey Hopper

Comments: Hi. My wife and I are REALLY Christy fans. We have all the shows. We have been to Del Rio to the real Christy site. We VERY MUCH want Pax TV to create new episodes of Christy and/or Ken Wales to make the movie. Hopefully Mike Hickman would come back as Birdseye Taylor. He is one of our favorite actors in Christy. Thank you for the opportunity to express our opinions. And hope to see many at Christy Fest '99.

It was a series made for families and you don't get to much of that these days . I truly hope that it could come back . It was inspirational and educational as well. I'm new to the internet and computer too, I am so glad that there are others out there who encourage this type of family entertainment.

We have been to see the musical and the production site(but while it was a closed set and they had done filming earlier that morning and saw where the actors had lunch). We sure do wish that they would continue the series. We like the Christian values. Let us know of future plans or get-togethers at the site.

Comments: I was very sad to see that the series Christy was not able to complete the story like it was portrayed in the book. It was one of the few series I could watch with my kids and not worry that innuendos or inapropriate language was going to be slipped in under the guise of a "family" show. The acting and filming was superb, which seems to be a bad omen for shows now. I can't believe that shows like "America's Worst Police Chases" (or whatever the name is) are on the air, and Christy is not being filmed anymore. At least let them film enough to bring the show to a conclusion! All the fans of the book know what that was, and it would make it into a nice ending.

Comments: I was so impressed with the quality of the Christy series that I went out and bought the book. I'm glad they changed the storyline on Fairline. I also bought the entire video series. The "Miracle of Christy" helped me finally discover why I was so glued to the TV everytime it came on. I'm a "Christy" personality -(with God's help it CAN be done). PAX TV has captured the true heart of the American people. I am looking forward to seeing other quality series soon... "Promised Land," "Waltons", etc. I'm praying that both "Little Men" and "Christy" will have continuing episodes. Gene Reynolds has been given a wonderful gift from God. His ability and desire to produce shows like "Lou Grant" and "M*A*S*H are the only reason we bother to turn on our TV set.

I would really encourage those who can help make is possible to keep making this wonderful shows. We are praying for you and pray that God will continue to use this wonderful ministry/ It is so rare also to see this kind of series on TV. We miss the family show such as Christy and would hope that more TV stations would carry more series like this. We are tired of turning on the television and finding violence, drugs, sex and so on being the number one topic of almost every show. Now the only shows we watch are ones from the older days. Like I love Lucy, Happy Days, Laverene and Shirley, etc. These are only a few of the shows left that still carry some Godly morals and standards to them. Notice none of them are resently made. I would just encouarge you to keep on trecking and continue this wonderful series. In His Grip, Tesa Allemann

Comments: I lived in a small town "nestled in the foothills of the great Smoky Mountains!" for 12 years. The "Christy" series was filmed about 20 miles from where I lived. Everything on the show is so much like what I learned while living there; the Appalachian people were/are a proud people and their lives are steeped with the richness of their British-Scots heritage. I watched "Christy" from the first episode until it went off the air (when I could find it, they kept moving it around!). Even though AL is my home, I will always have special memories of the time I spent in TN. Watching "Christy" reminds me of those times. I was thrilled when I accidentally stumbled on an episode on the Family Channel and was crushed when I found out they were becoming FOXFamily and wouldn't carry it any longer. When I heard Mr. Paxson talking about showing it on his PAX network I was so excited! My family loves "Christy" and I am so thankful to the persons who are responsible for creating/producing/writing it as well as to the PAX network for bringing it to us. It teaches history, relationships, ethics, humanities, and the love of God. I think more episodes of "Christy" are exactly what we all need!

Christy also portrays a wonderful role model for young girls, which is a refreshing change from most of the other young women performers on television. Comments: I currently have Triax Cablevision. Since the Family Channel no longer carries Christy, I have been unable to see it because we don't get Pax TV. I sure wish we did. It is an extraordinary program that surely did not explore all the episodes there were to write about before it was cancelled. The poor program was shifted around so much it never had a chance to find its audience. Believe me, as a loyal viewer, I often had a hard time finding it when it was on. I would be thrilled if more episodes were written even if they were done on Pax TV and I never get to see them. It would do my heart good to know some people would be enjoying them!

Comments: I think that if there are ever to be new episodes of Christy (or a movie, etc.), now is the most likely time for this to happen. With PAX into its second run of the Christy episodes and looking to expand its base of original programming, Christy is a show that would come with a very large, ready-made audience. Many of the people in this ready-made audience would not know that this was happening unless they were already tuned in to PAX or unless PAX had advertisements in other places. Many of the cable channels advertise on network TV (the BIG THREE networks), so PAX could certainly do the same - I'm surprised they haven't already, although I know that PAX is on a very limited budget. Still, I believe that advertising would very quickly pay for itself in increased viewership! Christy fans - if there is ever a prime chance of bringing back Christy, it would have to be now.

I think Paxnet is a wonderful station filled with shows that should have made it longer than they did on regular television. I definitely think they should make more episodes of the show Christie! I have a couple of the videos and LOVED the series. I tried to never miss it when it was on. It was a wholesome show that taught children good moral lessons and that is what television ought to be about.

It is rare to find such good programming on T.V., although I must admit I did not watch it much when it aired. Comments: I have been searching high and low for the episode names of Christy. I am grateful to see that so many other people enjoy the show as much as my father and I do. It's nice to be able to sit down with my entire family and watch television again. We loved Christy the first time it aired, and love it just as much now that Pax is airing it. Thanks Pax. It would be wonderful if they decided to make new episodes. We need more family entertainment.

Comments: Dear Pax, We love watching Christy every Sunday afternoon. It gives us something to look forward to each week. We watched it when it first came out on CBS and since then thought it was one of the best shows we've seen produced on television. The writing and acting is fist rate, we think, above many of the other "award winning" shows on major networks. The choice of cast outstanding and the historical content great. It is truly a pleasure to watch. Thankyou for bringing it back to television. We hope you will try to have more produced for PAX TV. Thanks so much, The Roberts

Comments: Christy is one of my favorite shows and it's sad that the major networks have abandoned it in spite of its overwhelming popularity. My wife and I also like Father Dowling, Touched by an Angel and other family dramas. We also enjoy good, clean comedy. Further we appreciate stations that don't put garbage during commercial breaks and advertisements, lottery numbers, etc. overlaid on the screen while the show is running. I don't think we have access to PAXtv on our satellite but it sounds like the kind of programming we would really be interested in.

Comments: Hi, its me again. I left a message at the Pax room but felt the need to write here as well. Bring Christy to life once more, she is a real person to us, an inspiration to women of all ages, as are all the people of Cutter Gap. Maybe the actors are older, but they are a part of that wonderful community. This is not a problem, just make the movie years later. Mabe Christy decides that she is not ready for marriage, or mabe she turns him down because she knows deep in her heart there is only one man for her and it would be unfair to David if she married him. This would be the perfect time to bring Christy back to us, people want quality shows. Christy is one of the most amazing shows I have ever had the privialege to watch. Please bring back that talented cast and crew. I love this show, I had my sister tape it for me. Ironically it was the final episode that got me hooked. Even though I saw only the last five minutes of it I knew that Neil and Christy were supposed to be tiogether. Please bring this inispirational show. Thank you. P.S. I would like to hear from others fans of this show. :-)

Comments: Our family loves the Christy series! We saw some of it when it aired on CBS years ago, have purchased a few videos from Christian Book Distributors, and are thrilled to have the chance to view all the episodes on PAX! We appreciate wonderful family programming for our 3 children, ages 5, 3, and 1. It is very refreshing to have something we can all watch that is edifying and uplifting. We appreciate PAX TV's efforts to bring quality programming to the wasteland that has become of American broadcast television. Thank you also for televising the VeggieTales special for Christmas. Our children were beside themselves in anticipation for weeks! Keep up the good work, and please run the Christy series more than once as we just found out of the programming and have already missed some episodes!

I am a 18 year old and most of my peers are watching soaps or HBO or other questionable shows. Once or twice I have sat down and watched them. I was appalled at what I saw. NYPD Blue has partial nudity, and South Park well I don't even want to aknowledge that show. I am happy that Christy and other shows like it are on the air. Comments: Although most of my family and friends think I am a little on the crazy side, I have always loved shows that deal with the past, shows that entwine family values, life's hardship and religion. These shows are so sadly lacking from television listings these days, all because of what is considered "low ratings". These low ratings are determined from a very small segment of the population and I don't feel they are very accurate. I have been fortunate enough to be able to see Christy again on a Toronto Christian television station and am thrilled to have this show back on, and would be an extremely dedicated and appreciative viewer should it return to the air.

Comments: My family have nearly given up watching TV until PAXTV came on with Christy. We had seen a few episodes during its run on CBS and loved it, but had difficulty catching the broadcasts consistently. Then it was gone. Since PAXTV started airing Christy (at a time I rarely can watch) we have tried to tape every show. We've only missed a few so far, much to my ten year old daughter's chagrin. She is now reading Catherine Marshall's book and loving it. We would be thrilled for Christy to go back into production. Twenty-one episodews is not nearly enough to spend in Cutter Gap! Comments: As a high school teacher of 9th grade English, movies like Christy are needed. I have taught for fifteen years and the students continue to lose touch with how to live in a society without violence. Profanity is becoming their second language. Quality television is so important. Parents are not home to monitor what they watch or to discuss the programs with them; therefore, they see nothing wrong with profanity, sexual situations and have a lack of morals. I teach in public schools where we are starting to see more and more violence, gang activites, and disrespect. I have been glad to see those students who are involved in church wearing their Christian shirts, WWJD bracelets and writing papers on the most important thing that has ever happen to them is accepting Christ. The gangs still make the most noise and they are searching for happiness. The chip on their shoulders grow each day. If these students could see how life can be and where they can find happiness as demonstrated by good programing like Christy, my job would be a lot easier.

Comments: I wasn't even aware that Christy was on TV when the series ran on CBS. I loved the book and would have tuned in, but frankly, CBS did a lousy job of getting the word out. I stumbled across Christy reruns on The Family Channel and was completely enchanted. I followed the show from The Family Channel to PAXTV. I can't believe executives are actually sitting around agonizing over what to put on TV--Christy both premiered and ended before its time. How can someone view the episodes and not see the magic? Not see that the show deserves more airtime? How on earth did CBS let this one get away? Anyway, this show could do for PAXTV what Andy Griffith did for TBS. Except the viewers need new episodes!! The network left the viewers hanging. There is NO other show on TV on ANY network that is as rich and beautiful as this show. Please make new episodes!

Comments: Although I have not had the opportunity to view Pax TV, I'm impressed that someone was brave enough to dedicate an entire network to family-centered programming. As a huge fan of the "Christy" series, I was disappointed when it was canceled by one of the skittish and profit-minded "big" networks whose modus operandi seems to be "no sex, no gore, no way". Thank you for taking a series with such a pure, sweet premise under your wing. I know that there has been talk for years about putting Christy back into production. Although I think it is doubtful that Kellie Martin will be available for the project (since she has started work on ER), I think that many fans of the series wouldn't mind seeing another actress in the role. I also think that the series should begin where it left off, and not try to skip ahead to a later time in the characters' lives to cover the use of another actress in the Christy role. Part of the charm of the original show was the fact that Christy was so young, and we viewers enjoyed watching her grow and discover herself. Thank you, again, for looking out for quality TV, and for offering a forum for fans of the little shows networks ignore. Sincerely, Lindsay Young

Comments: I have watched Christy from the moment I accidently laid eyes on the program , searching the television , for what I thought was quite hopeless, a decent show, with morals, well to my very pleasent surprise , first thing I see is a young girl helping children living in a difficult situation, and of all things theses days, going to the word of God in search of Guidence, well it didn't take much more than that to convince me this was the show for me, As a young person of 20yrs, I see very little to show young people the true way in which to live everyday life, moment by moment situation by situation, I would dearly love to seee "Christy" once again on the family channel where it should be, with new and enlightening shows to a troubled world, My family and I do infact live on the television setting here in Townsend, a great surprise to us and a true blessing from the Lord, we had a chance to meet some of the wonderful cast members of "Christy" and I was personally delighted to see their down to earth appearence and aditude!! anyways, heres my greatest support to the pax network! and "Christy" , sincerly Esther Grace

Comments: Thank you, thank you to all the hardworking fans of Christy on the information highway! I first read the novel 30 years ago (when I was 12) and have always loved the story. The TV series couldn't have portrayed the characters better, and I'm dreaming - and praying - for the day when the series will be revived to resolve the cliffhanger. Thank you to PaxTV for broadcasting the series and introducing its stories to new audiences.

(not to mention the 1930's looking hat that I also got WAY underprice) But I will watch next weekend. Promise.....unless, of course, Belk is having a 50% off sale......

Comments: My family has been faithfully watching "Christy" on PAX tv since it started broadcasting in August. It provides the kind of wholesome entertainment we love, and we would be thrilled to see more episodes produced. I can guarantee that we would continue to tune in faithfully as long as the series is run. We also desire to see new series produced which promote integrity, and moral courage. We've had enough of the immorality which pervades television, and have abandoned most of the networks, except PAX. We would greatly support any program which reflects the values we live by.

Comments: The show Christy proves that family entertainment is highly superior to what we now are given on regular networks. The story line gives us a true role model to follow and reiterates that selflessness is much more rewarding than selfishness. This message is important to our children today along with adults. The producer, cast, and crew members have done a wonderful job. Please make new episodes. Thank you!

Comments: I remember I used to watch Christy with my mom when it was first on. I loved it. This summer I happeneed to find a channel that was showing it and I liked it even more, (and I don't watch that many TV shows.) I liked it so much that I even read the book twice in a row to get the full story. Then at the end of the summer the station took Christy off the air again. I'd love to see the show back on, especially if we finally won't be left hanging.

Comments: Hi, its me again. Sorry about shouting at you the last time, but sometimes that seems to be the only way to get heard. I've read all the requests from other fans and am grateful to find that I'm not alone, especially with regard to Stewart Finlay Mclennan. Please PaxNet do us a favor and bring back this terrific show with the original cast. If the problem is with how to end the cliffhanger ending, look at all the fanfic. These are terrific stories, especially the Pro-Neil ones. Face it, now that she knows who's name is on her heart to go with David would be as immoral as going with Neil right now. The other thing is David's true rival was never Neil, it was Cutter Gap. Christy is happy and fullfilled there, if she ever had to leave it would kill her. Please help us PaxNet, bring back Christy and soon. If you still have a problem, just make the episodes after "Eye of the Storm" a dream that is in Christy's mind to help her find out who she truly loves. This way Margaret remains dead and Neil is free. Then take those ideas from season two, like Dan Scott and Christy's dad and mom, and place them after she "wakes up". I'm sorry if this offends anyone out there, I just want this series to come back and TO PUT NEIL AND CHRISTY TOGETHER WHERE THEY WERE ALWAYS MEANT TO BE! How do I justify this claim? Read the book. In real life she went with the Reverand, but the series is based on the book and she is with Neil. This is how it should be, after all its him who makes her explore what she believes. He talks to her like she's an equal and he doesn't try to send her home, even though he was worried about her during the epidemic. David just tried to romance her and shelter her from the realities of the life in Cutter Gap. Sorry, I didn't mean to get on my soapbox. Please forgive me, but I'll stand by what I've just said. Bring back all the cast because it wouldn't be the same without them, they had a chemistry that really worked. Stewart is the PERFECT Dr. MacNeil, Tyne Daly is the best Miss Alice, Kellie Martin does a wonderful job as Christy (and yes I do know that she is in ER), while I do not like David Grantland, Randall does make him a likable guy, he's just not right for Christy. Well, I could go on about this amazing cast but I think you get the idea. BRING BACK CHRISTY, please?

Comments: I think that family programming on television is important. My family and I have enjoyed programs like Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, Father Dowling Mysteries, and Christy to name a few. Tevelision is for families, and there should always be a family option in television programs. I was very disappointed to hear that Christy was not renewed after the first season. I don't have access to the figures, but from the abundance of advertising and availability, I think that the videos of the programs are one of the best selling of their kind. Businesses do not stock and promote items that don't sell -- they liquidate. I've yet to see a liquidation sale of Christy videos. I believe that that in itself demonstrates the popularity of the program. I don't imagine that either CBS or the Family Channel had any trouble selling advertising for that hour each week. I would love to see production continue on the Christy series, even if some of the original actors are no longer available to participate in the project.

All the web sites devoted to Christy and people requesting more of this series FOUR YEARS after it aired, tells me this is what the public wants. Also, the people who never caught Christy the first time around (because of the constantly changing time slot)and are just now discovering it, want more too. It's great family programming. And Stewart Finlay-McLennan was teriffic! He had the look, the voice and the talent. I had to remind myself, like many others I'm sure, that he was only playing a part!

Comments: I would like to praise the PAX network for providing a channel that parents can trust their children to watch. Unfortunately the cable company in our area doens't carry the PAX network. There is very little available for children as the "family" programming on the regular networks seem to have taken a turn for the worse in the last decade.. Our family will be watching a program and I'll have to change the channel in mid-program when there is adult-type dialog. I very much enjoy family programs myself and am not inpressed when things are added to a show just to spice it up for the ratings. My favorite television program of all time is Christy. I have watched all of the series - it is very well done and superbly acted. I know a lot of people would be interested in seeing this quality television series continued. The continuation of the series would also spawn sales of new videos and merchandise related to the series.

Our family recently bought all the Christy videos and we feel this is one of the best purchases we have made for our home video library. Our children, ages 3,6,10 and 12, loved every program and watched them from start to finish...then asked to see more! We finished all the videos in about a week and a half and wished there were more. Comments: I want to let everyone know how thankful I am to God that there is now a network owned and run by Christians! How awesome that is!! People need a place where they can go when they turn on the television...and PAX is it. I am really glad PAX does not sell time to advertisers during the wee hours of the night. It's neat to be able to turn on the television after midnight and see something that is top quality. Before PAX, there was nothing good on. It gets tiring to flip through the channels and see infomercial after infomercial advertising everything from pots & pans to "get rich quick" programs. And then, of course, there are those sleazy 800 numbers. Also, after a hard day at work, school, etc. who wants to listen to the news?! I am very thankful for the worship programs. What a great way to end the evening or start the day...by seeing beautiful scenery and hearing praise songs to God. Being able to see re-runs of some of the best family shows ever made is GREAT!! The show I like best is "CHRISTY". To me, there never has been and never will be a television show as good as "CHRISTY". "CHRISTY" is such an inspiriational program. After all, it's based on Catherine Marshall's very inspiring book, "CHRISTY". There are so many elements that make "CHRISTY" the best program, that I could go on for a long time. Since "CHRISTY" was such a well made, inspiring program, it is my sincere desire that more episodes will be made. After all, the building are still up, and Ken Wales and Stuart Finlay-McLennan are willing to work on "CHRISTY" again. I'm sure that many of the original cast members would be more than willing to revive their rolls in this wonderful program, too. It would be best if the main characters would be played by the same people; they fit their parts perfectly, and everyone had good chemistry. If not all of the main cast members could resume their role, more episodes should still be made. So many people want "CHRISTY" back. There have been many letters and phone calls made in support of "CHRISTY" since it first aired in 1994. After all, in the advertisement for the "CHRISTY" video series from Time Life, they state that fans fought to keep it ("Christy") on the air. That is the truth. We "fought" to keep it on the air, and we continue to "fight" to get it back. Please make more episodes. I know that there are people whose lives could still be touched by the continuation of "CHRISTY"!! Thank you for your network and airing "CHRISTY", PAX. May we be able to tune in for new episodes in the future! Sincerely, Julie

Comments: Thank you PAX TV for finally bringing family programming to our little part of the world. Since PAX TV began on August 31, I have watched it everyday for at least a few hours. It is great to enjoy shows without fear of offending material. I have enjoyed several of the shows in first-run throughout the years, and I am glad to be able to catch the re-runs weekly, some even nightly. I especially enjoy Christy on Sunday nights. I have read the novel and watched the series on The Family Channel. I was heartbroken when the series ended and would love to see it go into production again with all new episodes. This wonderful family series has been wronged by several networks in the past and deserves the chance to continue with its quality plots and family atmosphere. Thank you very much for bringing it to your network, and I look forward to seeing what else PAX TV has to offer the American family.

Comments: I'm really happy to see "Christy" re-runs back on the air and would be even happier to see new episodes of "Christy" aired! And even though Pax TV comes in all fuzzy where I live, I watched "Christy" last Sunday, and even though where I go to school I won't get Pax TV at all, I will continue to be thankful that "Christy" is being brought to a new audience. This television show has had an extraordinary impact on my life, it has brought me into contact with wonderful people and brought about a spiritual awakening within me and I can only hope that it will have as big of an impact on the new audience tuning into "Christy" and Pax TV. Keep up the good work Pax TV, please expand your broadcast area, and please bring us new "Christy" episodes! Miranda

Comments: I am very much in favor of family programming. In the world today there is a lot of "junk" on T.V. that is not appropriate for our children. We need to get back to basics & teach our young people good, moral family values. I am excited about Pax-Tv & your commitment to good family programs. It is nice to turn the tv on & not have to worry what my 'babies' are watching (we have to be careful these days even with the news programs.) One of our favorite shows is 'Christy'--it is a good family show with wonderful characters & excellent writing. I can only hope & pray that it will continue to touch peoples lives & maybe new episodes could be produced. Thank you for your consideration & your willingness to provide good family programs.

Comments: I would like to thank PAX TV for having a safe location on the tv 'dial'. It is wonderful to see family orientated tv that I can watch with my children and older family members. I hope more cable servers pick up PAX! Family programming is needed today-- there is too much violence and inappropriate material on other channels (especially the news). Thank You PAX for giving Christy a "home". I know I can tune in on Sunday evenings to catch an episode of my favorite program. I would love to see more/ new episodes or holiday movies/ specials of this wonderful program. It sends a strong message of hope, peace, and love despite differences that is needed in today's programs. Christy is a program that touches people from all walks of live-- it would be great to see this series continued. Thank You, Beth H. Connecticut

I'm so upset that my sattallite server is not at this time carrying Pax tv, for nothing will lift my spirits as much as watching Christy. Of course, I'm a Kellie Martin fan and would love to see her in the title role again. However, I understand she is very busy these days and may not be able to make the cast. I would still watch Christy even without Kellie in the title role. Thanks for listening! We are the viewers! =) Cliff Giddens

Comments: I would really, REALLY LOVE PaxTV, if you started Christy where CBS left off!!!! After CBS cancelled it, I just stopped tuning in to them. I have no respect for them. I really will be praying that you decide to start it back up again. Christy (even though it so far has just nineteen episodes) is my favorite show! The only reason Christy didn't do good on CBS, was because they kept changing the time, whereas it was announced in the TV guide to air 7:00, and it had already aired at 6:00. Then they kept changing days. Timeslot is very important. And they would also schedule it to where Christy would air, when NBC, or ABC was having some big program on at the same time. CBS didn't listen to us. In fact the letters were probably not even read. Along with the discarded letters, was my respect for CBS for good programming. Now I think it is the lowest channel available to television. CBS ignored our (the veiwers) letters, and lost our respect. What will you do? Peter P.S. Please Try Christy at a sensible, steady timslot! At least One more season! Although I would so much enjoy at least seven or eight!

Comments: I would truely appreciate more episodes of Christy. I have enjoyed the series. There are many shows that are very sarcastic and synical today. Why are T.V. executives so seemingly afraid to try more positive shows? Television needs balance. These kinds of programs need a fair opportunity to find an audience. Leave the show on in an appropriate time and day. Thank you for your time.

Hearing that PaxNet will be dedicating itself to quality family programming made me very happy! I was then disappointed to hear that my cable company does not carry it. I'm so grateful that PAX TV has come along and is re-running such a great TV show. CBS was nuts to cancel it, especially since Tyne Daly won the Emmy right after its cancelation. I would love to see new episodes made if Kellie Martin can be wooed away from ER. I can't even begin to express my joy in the fact that this show is back on regular TV and I will get to see every delicious episode with that irreistable Doctor all over again. Bravo PAX TV!!

Comments: Thanks PAX tv for providing such family-friendly programs, like Christy and Doctor Quinn. TV today is so trashy. It's nice to be able to turn on the tv and watch shows that really make a difference and make people think about God and other issues that are sorely lacking in the world today. I lovved the series Christy when it was on tv and was devastated when it was canceled. Since Christy, tv has been graced by new family-friendly shows that have been successful, such as Touched by an Angel. I like to think that Christy cleared the path for these shows. There is a large market today for family-friendly fare. Why not create new episodes of Christy? Many people would love to see the conclusion to the series' cliffhanging ending. I know that many would love to be able to see how the story is continued. Please take the time to consider this idea. And give the reruns of Christy time to become profitable. One of the original problems was that CBS never really gave Christy a fair chance to become a profitable show. Let people find PAX tv and Christy. They will come.

Comments: I truly hope PaxNet understands the need for family viewing. It always amazes me that I STILL have to turn the channel on other networks so called "family hour". I can always trust the shows that now air on PaxNet. I have been a fan of the Christy series since it originally aired a few years ago. I am thrilled that PaxNet has decided to continue airing the repeats. It is a wonderful series!!!!! I think it is horrible what CBS has done to Dr. Quinn and the special that PaxNet had put together. Since PaxNet cannot show the Dr. Quinn special just yet, I'm hoping they will film a special for CHRISTY!!!!! They could interview everyone and I think it would be fantastic. Of course, better than any special would be new shows. Can you imagine :) That would be some terrific programming if they were able to produce some new Christy episodes or even a movie for the holiday season next year!!! Thanks to Sonja for letting me have a place to vent my feelings for CHRISTY & PaxNet!!!

Comments: I have heard a great many things lately about Pax tv & their committment to family viewing. Though I have a sattallite dish, and cannot at this time aquire Pax tv., I have already called in a request to my DSS server for Pax. It is so hard to find good, quility shows that I want my 10 year old daughter to watch. She loves shows like Christy, Touched By An Angle and Dr. Quinn. I would rather have her watch these shows than some of the cartoons available which I have to monotor. She's at the age of questioning religion and these shows provide the influence this age group responds to more readily than from a parent who has to change the station when something unappropriate comes on. Even more than TBAA, I think Christy is THE one show that teaches how God is in our everyday life, while showing there are big steps and small steps in life that are equally important. Christy gives me inspiration to keep believing when you think there's no one listening to your prayers. I know Christy has opened my eyes up to how much I need God in my heart, especially since in the last four years, I have lost five close family members . . . during this time I needed guidance, something to remind me that God has not forsaken me or my family. Christy has done this and even though I cannot at this time watch Christy on Pax, I hope to in the near future. I would also imitate Christy, and do my own cartwheel of joy if the show would be able to make brand new episodes!! I feel the need is here for this type of programming and Pax tv is the tool God is using to bring holesome viewing back into the home. Sincerely, Lisa Cormier

Comments: As a parent, I was thrilled to hear about Pax-TV. The clean, wholesome programs featured, are without a doubt a cut above the rest of the networks. It is a sad commentary on life when you see the trash that the other networks are calling entertainment. Pax-TV is a much needed (and welcome) breath of fresh air. How nice to be able to show our children the positive things of life - the good and the sweet - that time honored truths and Christian values do count for something in this life after all. And nothing fits this description better than the show Christy! What a joy and delight to watch. It is our very favorite. Young girls desperately need solid and upstanding role models. Christy is such a refreshing change from the junk that passes for programming on the networks. I commend Pax-TV for being bold and brave enough to stand for family values. It is very much appreciated by viewers who are eager to give their support and loyalty to such an agenda as what Pax-TV has under taken to provide. And .......if it is at all possible - give us more episodes of Christy!!! The interest in, and support for, this heartwarming story has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since Ken Wales first brought it to television. The fact that the number of Christy fans has increased rather than decreased over the years since it's cancellation by CBS speaks volumes for the appeal of this multi- award winning series and what it says about life, living and God's love. There is so much more to tell about Christy and life in Cutter Gap. Please, give us more. Bring Christy back into production!!! Thank you.

I know that all the actors have other things going on in thier lives, but it would really be nice to have the series back. I know that Kelly Martin is on ER now and Suart has other things going on, but still think that leaving us die-hard fans hanging onto that cliffhanger episode was completely rude. If anyone IMPORTANT (exectuvies, etc) read this, know that I really hope that you work hard to return the series. Any help you need in doing so will surely be readily available to you from the fans. In this day and age, society surely does need some good TV programing to overshadow the "nad" things in our lives. I hope we all work our hardest to understand that "Christy" is not just a story, but a message to many people about the love that can be found in doing good things. Truely- Kerry Hurley

Comments: No matter what people may say, it has been proven that TV can play a huge part in what we think the world to be. TV programming can tell us truths, and it can tell us lies. It can be uplifting, and it can be downright depressing. While it is true that there are many things in this world that are on the depressing side, it is not necessary for all of these things to be shown on TV. Things that are inappropriate, things that degrade, things that are offensive--all these should not make their way into our homes with the simple click of a button. Although we do not yet have PaxNet here in Las Vegas, it is my understanding that this network is dedicated to good family programming. I do not have children, but I am still part of a family and enjoy good wholesome shows, shows that I will come away from feeling good inside and inspiring me to be a better person. Christy is one of these shows. It is my hope and prayer that someone will make Ken Wales' vision of creating more episodes (or at least sequel movies) a reality. We can only gain from this.

Comments: After viewing the PaxTV information on the internet, I would like to congratulate PaxTV on its wonderful commitment to family programming. How I wish this channel was available on Australian television! It is full of the programs I have stayed up until all hours to watch, or have only seen a handful of episodes for, because the main channels over here seem to sacrifice the family for ratings. Unfortunately, if there is no "adult" concept, the program doesn't stay on prime time - a sad state of affairs indeed! I also noticed that PaxTV is rescreening the excellent series "Christy". This show has been one of my favourites since it was screened here in 1996 and 1997 (also in the middle of the night...) I would like to formally request that more episodes of Christy be made, so that excellent family programming can increase, rather than decrease. I hope that one day both PaxTV and new Christy episodes will find their way to Australia!
